Jackson Hole Winter Getaway

If you read my article about the GMC Yukon Denali on HIGHSPEED Magazine you’ll know how much I love Jackson Hole Wyoming. From their airport; the only one in a national park to horseback riding, or sitting on a balcony sipping coffee while looking out at the Grand Tetons.

Snow is falling in the Rocky Mountains, and it’s time to plan winter getaway to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. During the winter months, this destination transforms into a snowy wonderland filled with countless adventures. Leave your mark in the snow-covered landscape while snowshoeing across Grand Teton National Park, enjoy a snowmobile tour with Scenic Safaris, or sit back and relax around a cozy fireplace from the comfort of your Fireside Resort cabin.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is limiting the number of lift tickets sold per day and requiring Ikon and Mountain Collective Pass holders to make advanced reservations. It is strongly recommended to purchase lift tickets ahead of time so you can enjoy the snowy slopes of Jackson Hole.

After you have spent the day skiing, snowshoeing, or exploring the nearby National Parks, head into town to experience the vibrant nightlife. Jackson Hole offers something for everyone, whether you want to dance to honky-tonk music, sip cocktails at historic watering holes, or watch western entertainment.
