Electrogenic Reimagines Jason Momoa’s Iconic Vehicles for On The Roam

Electrogenic’s Luxury EV Conversion Work for Jason Momoa Blends Heritage, Craft, and Modern Performance

British EV technology company Electrogenic has unveiled its latest bespoke classic car EV conversion project for Jason Momoa, transforming a collection of cherished vehicles for the new season of On The Roam. The builds include two rare classic Land Rovers, three vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and a Schutt Industries trailer equipped for off-grid adventure.

For Luxury Standards Magazine, the story is as much about craftsmanship as it is about technology. Electrogenic’s latest work for Momoa reflects a growing appetite among collectors for luxury electric vehicle conversion services that preserve originality while improving usability, reliability, and long-term enjoyment.

Among the standout projects are a 1949 Land Rover Series I 80″ and a 1961 Land Rover Series IIA 109 Dormobile, both reengineered for electric drive. Rather than altering the character of the vehicles, Electrogenic has kept the original architecture intact, creating a seamless electric Land Rover experience that remains true to the spirit of the originals.

The Dormobile, one of the rarest Land Rover variants ever produced, has also been fitted for modern off-grid living, making it a refined expression of heritage travel. In keeping with Electrogenic’s philosophy, the conversion is fully reversible and designed to protect the vehicle’s collectability.

The company also reimagined three vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycles for Momoa, creating a distinctive vintage Harley-Davidson hybrid experience. The motorcycles can be ridden in electric mode, petrol mode, or with both powertrains working together, offering a rare blend of period character and contemporary convenience.

Electrogenic’s approach has helped establish it as a leading name in the world of high-end EV conversions, especially for owners who want to preserve rare vehicles without sacrificing drivability. The firm’s in-house technology and software allow it to tailor each build with precision, supporting a bespoke standard more commonly associated with luxury design houses than engineering workshops.

The collaboration builds on Electrogenic’s earlier conversion of Momoa’s 1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom II, a landmark project that first introduced the actor’s long-running partnership with the Oxford-based company. Together, the projects underline a broader movement in the collector car market: electrification not as replacement, but as preservation through innovation.

Momoa, whose interests span sustainability, outdoor travel, and classic machinery, has described the appeal of these projects as a way to enjoy historic vehicles more freely while embracing cleaner technology. That balance makes the Electrogenic story especially relevant to audiences interested in luxury automotive innovation, sustainable craftsmanship, and celebrity-owned classics.

Electrogenic continues to expand its global reputation through bespoke conversions, OEM powertrain development, and its growing range of plug-and-play systems for iconic vehicles. With demand rising for premium electric classic car solutions, the company remains at the forefront of a niche that is quickly becoming a defining category in modern luxury motoring.
