Cadillac Unveils the 2025 CT5 Sedan: A Fusion of Innovation and Elegance

Cadillac, a name synonymous with luxury and innovation, has once again pushed the boundaries of automotive excellence with the launch of its 2025 CT5 sedan. This latest addition to the Cadillac family is not just a vehicle; it’s a testament to six decades of relentless pursuit of perfection.

A Refreshing Redesign

The 2025 CT5 sedan boasts a stunning refresh, emphasizing a new front-end styling that captures attention effortlessly. With a larger grille adorned with gloss black and chrome accents (with black mesh for the Sport trim), the CT5 exudes an air of sophistication and authority. Stacked LED headlamps and vertical lighting create an aura of modernity and elegance.

At the rear, subtle yet impactful changes include a mesmerizing new light-pattern animation when the car springs to life. To add a touch of luxury to your journeys, the CT5 offers an optional dual-pane “UltraView” sunroof.

Interior Innovation

Step inside the CT5, and you’ll find a transformative change in the interior. The previous ten-inch center touchscreen has made way for an impressive 33 inches of 9K-resolution-capable screens. This feature, first introduced in the Escalade and now rolling out across other Cadillac models, is standard across all CT5 trims.

These screens serve as more than just displays; they integrate an infotainment touchscreen, a customizable digital instrument cluster, and a smaller left-hand screen for controls, including the head-up display. What’s more, the infotainment screen incorporates Google Built-In, offering access to Google Assistant, Maps, and Play, as well as OnStar and a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability.

Enhanced Safety and Driver Assistance

The 2025 CT5 takes safety to a new level with standard features like blind-spot steering assist, intersection emergency braking, driver attention assist, road-sign recognition, and intelligent speed assist. Plus, it offers Super Cruise, GM’s hands-free highway driving assist feature, providing peace of mind during long journeys.

Under the Hood

While Cadillac is committed to a fuel-free future with electric models like the Lyriq and Escalade IQ, the CT5 continues with gas-only engines. The standard powerplant is a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder, generating 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Alternatively, you can opt for the 3.0L twin-turbo V6, delivering an impressive 335 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission.

What Lies Ahead

The 2025 CT5 is set to go into production in the spring of 2024 at GM’s Lansing Grand River Assembly in Michigan. While specific on-sale dates and pricing details for the 2025 models are yet to be announced, it’s worth noting that the 2024 models start at $44,999 and go up to $50,999.

As Cadillac continues to evolve and redefine luxury in the automotive industry, the CT5 stands as a symbol of their commitment to excellence, innovation, and a bright future. Stay tuned for more updates and be prepared to experience the fusion of art and engineering that is the 2025 CT5 sedan.
